Carrot Halwa

Ingredients :
250 mgs carrots, grated
1 cup milk
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1-2 Tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons butter
50 gms Cashew nuts/raisins
Method:
1. Melt butter in a pan.
2. Add the cashews and fry till they are golden brown.
3. Add raisins, wait a few seconds - the raisins will puff up.
4. Add grated carrots, and fry a few seconds
5. Add the milk and cook till the milk gets absorbed.
6. Add the condensed milk, and cook till the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
7. Pound the cardamoms with a little sugar to make a powder, remove the skins. Use the powder, the skins can be used in your tea for a great flavor.
8. Add the powder to the mixture and turn off the heat
9. Serve Hot. Taste great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
