Leaving away from Germany

The time to move has arrived…I am sad to leave Germany.
I remember my first feelings towards Munich were not good.
- I hate winter time (I came the first time in Feb 2008)
- I hate eating bread, cheese, cold food, EU food.
- I hate some people here especially the men who treat Thai woman in a negative way.
- I hate people who are not kind like Asian people.
- I hate when I didn’t understand their English
- I hated it when I didn’t understand about my job at all.
- I hate hate hate hate …
after 3 months,
I didn’t like …
- Why no one is teaching me the job? Why no one is giving me the training ?
- Why is it so difficult to get friends here?
- Why is my job difficult? Why am I so stupid?
- When the people here say that they don’t understand my English…
- Why is everything so expensive?, Just breathing, you have to pay…
after 6 month,
- I am learning by doing the job. so I am ok now.
- The people is more straight forward , I love that.
- The weather is perfect.
after 8 month,
- I am luck to living here. I love Munich!
- My job is so interesting.
- Why is Thailand so warm!? I can’t live with that etc..

Wow, patako, this was your best post so far (in my opinion).
Its great to see how your opinions about the place gradually changed.
Its a fact though. Wherever you go, you will initially not like the new place. Gradually you fall in love with the place and soon it becomes like a home away from home!!
